I don't want you like this. In lightning bursts, in microseconds. Ten texts in one minute, too much limelight and attention.
I want you, drawn out and spread. Evenly divided between both of our schedules. There, always. No excuses. One text every hour.
It is not possible that I always end up texting you just as you're arriving home from God-knows-where.
Stop with the overcompensation. It depresses me. I'd rather be depressed for another reason.

Strange. Not in a bad way. It's just that most people like to carry on conversations at once instead of texting a little bit continuously throughout the day.
