The century of thrills.

This year, too many "important days" like birthdays and aniversaries have passed by with me doing nothing and sitting at home. I am so glad 12/12/12 was not that day.
I'm not superstitious. I don't believe that this day has some sort of subliminal meaning. It's just a day to have an excuse to get out of the house, off your butt, and have fun. Make memories. With whomever.
My 12/12/12:
My profs were over and out of the way. Friends. Plan: Joyland.
Discovery for the first time, after minutes of chasing and coaxing and yelling. R was right. Once you get over with it, you feel like you conquered something. It was some form of bad-assery for me. A milestone. And the ride itself was death-defingly scary. You have to put all your faith on the black frame holding you. Even when your entire body is off of the seat and against the frame. That's alot of trust. Would I do it again? With a little less coaxing next time, probably yes. It was fun. A is right. People around me are being right.
Some food at a weird restaurant, lots of window shopping, and pictures. Prof has been going on for so long, I forgot what it felt like to pose for a photo. And staying the night at the hostel. Talking to A until I started zoning out. Waking up with the sorest body ever. Which is still sore. But 12/12/12 was spent out, with the mindset to put every awkward, sad, angry feeling aside. And it worked.
And now third year of med school is here.
